Responsibilities

Summary of Job Profile: 
A Network Engineer ITSM supports deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of network and IT service management tools across Pakistan. They manage ITSM/NMS cases, assist in network design and optimization, and collaborate with teams to ensure efficient, secure network operations and high customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

•         Actively participate in deployments across Pakistan 

•         Basic knowledge of SNMP, ICMP, and network protocols. 

•         Responsible for opening and handling ITSM/NMS cases.

•         Work with enterprise-level architecture team to implement NMS tools including SolarWinds, ManageEngine, HaloITSM, and Quest installation, implementation, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting. 

•         Network design, integration, optimization, and migration.

•         Provide engineering support for troubleshooting. 

•         Work with team members to identify and resolve customer satisfaction issues.

•         Any other task assigned by Management. 

•         Understand issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc. 

•         Keep up with deadlines and timelines for support and deployment TAT.

Requirements

Knowledge: 

•   Understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, and protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching). 

•   Familiarity with ITSM platforms and network management solutions (SolarWinds, ManageEngine, etc.). 

•   Basic concepts of network security, firewalls, and troubleshooting methodologies. 

•   Awareness of inventory management and IT audit processes. 

Skills:

•    Technical troubleshooting of hardware and software issues on client system. 

•    Deploying, configuring, and maintaining ITSM and NMS solutions. 

•    Clear and concise technical documentation and reporting. 

•    Effective communication and collaboration within IT teams. 

•    Time management and multitasking on daily tasks and projects.

Abilities: 

•   Diagnose and escalate complex technical issues appropriately. 

•   Adapt to new technologies and quickly learn ITSM/NMS tools. 

•   Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and inventory management. 

•   Work independently under supervision and as part of a team. 

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification required for the position: 

•   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

•   Minimum 1-3 years of experience in network engineer.
