Responsibilities
Summary of Job Profile:
Lead nationwide presales, solution architecture, sales support, and strategic special projects focused on Infrastructure and Cloud solutions. This role drives sales success by designing competitive solutions, supporting sales teams, and managing customer and OEM engagements. The position focuses on solution strategy and presales outcomes without responsibility for Solution delivery and P&L
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Growth
• Lead
presales and sales support activities nationwide for infrastructure and cloud
solutions, achieving assigned sales targets.
• Achieve
Sales quotas assigned on a quarter to quarter basis
• Work closely
with Sales and Account Managers to identify opportunities and create winning
proposals, BOQs, and RFP responses.
•
Manage OEM and distributor relationships related to deal
registration, pricing, and solution positioning.
Presales & Solution Architecture
• Provide leadership for nationwide presales across compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies and any special projects assigned from time to time.
• Conduct requirements gathering, workshops, and technical scoping.
• Develop
innovative, customer-focused solutions.
• Mentor
regional presales teams and Solution Architects.
•
Maintain standardized design artefacts such as templates,
diagrams, sizing sheets, and solution documents.
Special Projects & Innovation
• Lead
cross-functional initiatives related to infrastructure modernization, cloud
adoption, and emerging technologies like AI-ready infrastructure and hybrid
cloud.
• Support
leadership in evaluating new products and strategic growth areas.
• Customer
& OEM Engagement
• Represent
Arwen Tech in customer sessions, pre-bid meetings, seminars, and industry
events.
•
Act as senior technical consultant for key enterprise,
public sector, telecom, and FSI customers.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs and distributors (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, VMware, Nutanix, Huawei, H3C, Schneider Electric, etc.).
Customer & OEM Engagement
• Represent
Arwen Tech in customer sessions, pre-bid meetings, seminars, and industry
events.
• Act as
senior technical consultant for key enterprise, public sector, telecom, and FSI
customers.
• Build strong
relationships with OEMs and distributors (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, VMware, Nutanix,
Huawei, H3C, Schneider Electric, etc.).
Internal Coordination & Governance
• Advise
senior leadership on portfolio enhancement, GTM strategies, and modernization
opportunities.
• Develop
unique, customer-centric solution approaches to enhance Arwen’s competitive
positioning.
• Evaluate and
recommend new technologies including HCI, private/hybrid cloud, softwaredefined
infrastructure, and emerging platforms.
• Work
cohesively with internal Account Management, Strategy, Engineering, and
Operations teams for solution alignment and customer strategy.
• Handover designed solutions to Delivery/PMO with complete documentation and clarity, without being responsible for delivery execution.
• Participate in IKO/EKO meetings with customers to support knowledge transfer, as he/she was engaged throughout the presales journey.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA’s) required to successfully perform the job:
• Strong
knowledge of compute, storage, virtualization, and backup technologies.
• Expertise in
SAN/NAS/Object storage architectures and cloud integration models.
• Capable of
designing hybrid/multi-cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding
of data center components, power/cooling basics, racks, and infrastructure
dependencies.
• Strong
commercial & technical acumen in developing competitive infrastructure
solutions.
• Excellent
communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to
lead presales activities, guide solution architecture, and support nationwide
teams.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals, customer engagements, and special projects simultaneously.
Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification required for the position:
• Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field (Master’s
preferred).
• 15+ years of
experience in infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, presales, or solution
architecture roles.
• Certifications Preferred: CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, Azure/AWS/GCP, Nutanix, Dell, HPE, H3C, or equivalent infrastructure certifications
• Experience in sales consulting with emphasis on pre-sales and solution architecture for infrastructure and cloud.
