Responsibilities

Summary of Job Profile:

The Internal Support will provide technical support and assist with maintaining the company’s internal IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. This role involves troubleshooting user issues, system maintenance, and coordinating with teams to ensure reliability and efficiency of IT services within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Provide first-level technical support to company employees for hardware, software, networking, and peripheral device issues.

· Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

· Troubleshoot user issues related to operating systems, application software, email, and network connectivity.

· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls through internal systems.

· Support system updates, backups, and security patch management.

· Monitor IT infrastructure performance and promptly resolve IT-related incidents.

· Maintain documentation of support procedures, system configurations, and user guides.

· Assist in deploying internal IT projects, upgrades, and new technology roll-outs.

· Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers for hardware repairs and software licensing.

· Provide user training and support to increase technology adoption and compliance.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA’s) required to successfully perform the job:

· Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and common business software applications.

· Basic networking knowledge including LAN, WAN, VPN, and connectivity troubleshooting.

· Proficiency in hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

· Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.

· Good problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently.

· Effective communication skills for supporting non-technical users.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time within a dynamic work environment.

· Team player with a proactive attitude towards learning and process improvement 


Education, Experience, License, Certification required for the position:

· Bachelor’s degree (4-years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from recognized universities in Lahore, or Rawalpindi.

· 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support roles, preferably providing internal support within an organization.
